Could you survive a day without your phone? How about a week? A month? A year?

We as a modern and technological society have integrated smartphones into our lives that most of our activities—be it crucial or menial—depend on them. We use smartphones for communication, organizing, even entertainment. You need to wake up early; you set up an alarm on your phone. You need to connect with your friends; you call or text them, or send them a chat on Facebook messenger. You have nothing to do on a weekend; you open YouTube or Netflix, or you play games.

We ca agree that a smartphone’s functionality depends on how many apps there are installed on the phone and how diverse these apps are. There are apps to shop online. There are apps to call a stranger and drive you around the city on their car. Did you know there are also apps to make money?

Yes, there are apps that actually pay you. And many of them pay you for things that you already do in your everyday life! You can just install these apps, carry on with your life (or add something to cope with some apps), and get paid for it.

Let’s take a look at these apps, shall we?

Mobee

The next time you feel like visiting the grocery store or other shops, you can earn some extra cash too! This app called Mobee to perform some simple and easy tasks to be done in shops.

It’s pretty simple. Some stores pay Mobee to gather information that could help them level up their services—customer service, pricing, etc. So the app will ask you some questions when you are at the store. You can answer those questions in 5-10 minutes, and boom! Extra money for you.

You have been in stores that reward you with a cotton candy or an ice cream for participating in their surveys, but Mobee pays you real cash to be involved in their data gathering.

AppTrailers

Now this app pays you to play videos on their app. There are a wide variety of videos you can choose from. And each video will earn you points that you can convert into money. You can do cash it out as cash cards from Target, Amazon, Starbucks, or you can send it to your PayPal account.

One of the things people have been doing with this app is just let it run and do other things. Some even connect more than five devices and run the app simultaneously. You can do that as well and make more money.

Pact

You can also get paid to exercise!

Now we also had another article that lists some other apps where you can get paid for exercising. If you want to know more about that, check out the article here.

But let’s talk about Pact!

With pact, you will have to make a deal on the number of days you’re going to exercise per week. The higher you set that number to, the higher the payment also. You need to be sure about the pact you’re making, though. Not being able to live up to your end of the bargain will cause you to lose the deal, and it will cost you money. Each day with missed exercise will cost $5-$50 depending on the pact you made. You will need to make sure that you fulfill the pacts you make.

But don’t worry about any sudden changes in your schedule that would render you too busy to fulfill the pacts. Just go to the settings and change your weekly workout deal. You could also schedule a break.

As proof of the exercise you did for the day, you can connect your fitness apps like RunKeeper and MapMyFitness. Additionally, fitness bands such as Moov, Jawbone, and Fitbit can also be synced to the Pact app.

Imagine that! Things that are (or can be) a part of your everyday life, but with the sole difference of you getting paid to do it. These are just some of the apps that can make your phone a good tool to earn extra money. There’s a lot more to explore, but these three would be a good start.
